In our prefab process, the material list is currently generated based on drawing logic (fittings and connections), but our warehouse is organized based on article numbers.
This results in inefficient picking, as employees have to walk back and forth through the warehouse to collect materials.
By allowing the material list to be sorted by article number, the picking process can follow the physical layout of the warehouse, significantly reducing walking time and improving efficiency.
This would benefit:
Prefab departments
Warehouse employees
Companies working with structured inventory systems
The feature could work as:
An option to export or display the material list sorted by article number
Or a toggle between drawing-based sorting and warehouse-based sorting
