Search or place by manufacturer part number (MPN)

In certain situations, you know exactly which manufacturer's part number needs to be installed.

However, within the Stabicad environment, there is no easy way to search for this specific number — neither in the drawing menu (Piping > Fittings >) nor in the MEP content overview.

It is very cumbersome to check whether the component in question even exists in the database. A search function based on the manufacturer's part number would save a great deal of time, especially if the results could also be sorted by name or number.

That should be easy to resolve; after all, the manufacturer part numbers are linked to the drawing element (to enable the generation of bills of materials). It is simply a matter of

making the columns available for the user to search within both Stabicad and MEP-content.
